Diesel Heater Combustion Chamber

Why Does a Diesel Heater Smoke?
Heavy smoke indicates that healthy combustion is not occurring. Blocked air intake or air bubbles in the fuel line can cause this.
Diesel Heater Working Principle
It works by atomizing fuel in a controlled manner and igniting it in the combustion chamber. The blower motor both supplies oxygen and blows the heated air.

Driving and Rest Times
The daily use, weekly total, mandatory break and rest periods drivers ask about most.
Daily Total Driving Time
The general limit under AETR is 9 hours per day. This may be extended to 10 hours no more than twice a week. Breaks and other work are assessed separately from driving time.
Weekly Total Driving Time
Total driving in one week must not exceed 56 hours. Staying below the daily limits does not remove the weekly total limit.
Two-Week Total Time
Total driving over any two consecutive weeks is at most 90 hours. If you drive 56 hours in the first week, you may drive no more than 34 hours in the second.
Continuous Driving and Break
After at most 4.5 hours of driving, a break of at least 45 minutes must be taken. Under AETR the break may be split as 15 minutes followed by 30 minutes.
Daily Rest Period
Normal daily rest is at least 11 hours. It may be reduced to 9 hours under certain conditions; the number of uses and compensation of reduced rest must follow the legislation.
Weekly Rest Period
Normal weekly rest is at least 45 hours. Under AETR it may be reduced to 24 hours, and the shortfall must be compensated with continuous rest within the specified period.
